LAKE OHAU LODGE
Lake Ohau Lodge is an iconic 72 room NZ high country lodge on the shores of Lake Ohau in the Southern Alps, a medium to large wilderness lodge catering for tours and functions over summer and skiers and snowboarders over winter.
For the 2011/12 summer season, we are looking for:
LODGE RECEPTIONIST
Lake Ohau Lodge is seeking a receptionist with hotel reservations experience or front desk equivalent for this permanent position. Lake Ohau is a family run business. It is unique in it’s style and we pride ourselves on our hospitality.
We are looking for someone who makes a good first impression, is welcoming and polite and will fit in with the existing team. The successful applicant is required to manage the RHS booking system, check in guests, prepare bills, reconcile takings, answer emails and could be asked to assist in the restaurant or bar.
We are seemingly remote but in a beautiful location so this position will suit someone who enjoys the outdoors.
We offer a negotiable wage rate with accommodation and meals provided.
Please apply in writing, attaching your CV with photo and references to louise@ohau.co.nz . If you are not able to attend an interview, please do not apply.
OHAU SNOW FIELDS
Ohau Snow Fields is the original NZ high country boutique snow field situated in the Southern Alps south of Mt Cook. Ohau has a double chair lift, a platter and a snow mat.
Thanks for your applications but all positions have now been filled for 2011.
If you are interested in applying for winter 2012 please send an email to Mike, mike@ohau.co.nz, introducing yourself and indicating which Snow Field or Lake Ohau Lodge positions you may have an interest in. Please clearly describe your skills and experience and why you would like to work at Ohau. If possible also attach your CV and a photo of yourself. Alternatively contact Mike or Louise on +61 3 4389 885.
Please accept my apologies if I don't reply as I will only follow up with applicants who I feel we have a suitable job vacancy for.
Thanks for your interest.
